My 25 things before 26 list - the goals I achieved.

Hellooo! :) Next week is going to be my 26th birthday and here's my list of goals (idea by Hula Seventy) I made one year ago. Let's see which goals I achieved! :)
As you can see, I nearly managed to complete my list, especially those things which were most important to me. To sum it up, I made lots of progress with Luloveshandmade, shared many special moments with my loved ones, made new friends, learned new skills and worked on many creative projects, so much fun and such a good year in life!
Apart from all the great personal and creative achievements, I didn't do much sports, although this was a point on my list. Of course, I'm always quite active, walk around, explore the city, walk the dog, and so on, but I'm too lazy for 'real' sports to keep me fit and to balance sitting so much (at my desk, at the sewing machine, and so on...). We'll see if that will change this year. ;)
I'm super satisfied with having managed to achieve so many important goals and I'm already working on a '26 things before 27' list which I'm going to publish soon. :) Can't wait to see what the next year of life will bring to me. Even if it's only half as awesome as the past one, it will be perfect! :)
In case you are curious, here's my '24 things before 25' list and here are all my other lists with plans and goals that I published on my blog. :)
Do you make lists with goals? :) Do you always achieve all of them? I love writing down goals to stay focused and of course, because it's fun!

Luloveshandmade on youtube for DaWanda: Social Media Advices for Blogging

Click:
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks!!!!!!!!
DaWanda's seller education team has recently invited me to share my experiences and knowledge concerning blogging. In this video I talk about how to successfully use social media - especially a blog - in order to promote a shop and in order to support one's independent business. All the advice I give is based on my personal experiences and all the things I learned in the past years since I have started my blog. This can also be seen on DaWanda's blog where my video is introduced to the community. :)
Last week, Lena of DaWanda visited me at home with her camera and we were making this video, I had lots of fun and it was a totally new experience. Of course, Mogli was part of the video, too, he's such a cute pie with his handmade doggie bow tie! :)
Awwwww, so exciting! Now you can hear me talking and see me sitting in my craft corner! :)
Have fun!

My Colorful Home.

Hello! :) When the sun came out a few days ago, I took my chance to take a few photos from our flat to show you some colorful pieces from my favorite place in the world, my home (for older home tour posts, click here :)).

I love colorful bedding and different fabrics and patterns.
Handmade fabric recycling project and my pinboard with all my photobooth photos.
Notebooks and pencil case.
My colorful (washi) tape collection, my (handmade) stamps and two of my pouches (I designed the owl pattern myself. :)).
This is a part of my sewing corner. I use the wine crate to display lomo cameras and I use a pink spice rack to store my textile colors. The colorful illustrations were all found on Pinterest and then printed out.
Fabric, handmade brooches and 'Mr. Moustache' mugs.

Handmade pillows for my shop, a part of my fabric collection and some of my favorite DIY books and magazines.

My handmade brooches and hair bows. :)
Part of my jewellery collection.
As you can see everywhere, I love colors. My nailpolish collection is constantly growing, I'm a sucker for pretty nails. :)
This is a part of my colorful collection of tights and leggings and all of my dresses.
The deer painting is by my dear friend Hanna, I love it so much! My room is full of handmade buntings to add color and next to my mirror, there are old vintage picture frames which I painted white and filled with fabric scraps.

I love the matryoshkas I got as a Christmas gift last year and I also love the awesome granny square that Anja made me for Christmas this year!! :-*
Flo's gamepad pillow I sewed him as a birthday present 1 1/2 years ago, he loves it! :)
A few pieces of out kitchen. When we moved in here, I made a collection of apple fabric kitchen textiles for our new home and about two years ago, I started collecting pretty vintage kitchen wares, especially cups, tea pots and plates.
Fresh flowers to brighten our home on our turquoise kitchen table which I painted myself! :) The owl egg timer is one of my favorite items in our kitchen.
Here are two of my very favorite plates from my vintage dishes collection and some of the little tea cups. Moreover, I love collecting pretty postcards and artprints with nice patterns and bright colors! :)

How did you like those snapshots from our home? Any favorite pieces and corners? :)

Boots: bianco
Bag: Primark
Yellow headband: handmade by someone on Kleiderkreisel
Yellow scarf and yellow wrist warmers: handmade by me

Moustache necklace: Christmas gift from Hanna :)

Hello and happy weekend! :) Uhhhh, I haven't been taking outfit photos for quite a while, but here's finally a new What I Wore post! :)
Today Flo and I took Mogli and drove to the countryside for a walk in nature through the fields, far away from the city, without seeing anyone else. Only the three of us. :-*
Can't wait for days to become warmer and sunnier and for spring so that I can again wear bright dresses and tights, but for now, those splashes of color in my winter outfits have to be enough. :)
Enjoy your weekend! Lu :)

This year's birthday wishlist.

1. Such a pretty bag from asos. A girl can never have enough matching bags in all colors! :)

3. This pink squirrel brooch from nice design is so cute!
4. Awww, can there be anything better as an accessory than this handmade Mary Poppins brooch from walking desaster?
5. Hoorrayyyyy! I love this tote from little big Treehouse.
6. This wooden brooch from snug.studio is awesome, I can really imagine it on several of my dresses.
7. I really need a camera bag so badly! I got my camera two years ago as a birthday present from my mum and I still don't have a special bag and I definetly want a colorful camera bag like this from jo totes.
8. This tote from george-koenig is so cute, it would definitely be one of my favorites in everyday life.
9. Prettyyyyy! I immediately fell in love with this bag from asos, perfect for spring!
10. Hello, beautiful thing! This yellow camera bag from shootbags is as beautiful as the blue one and I still can't decide which one I like more. I will definitely buy one of those two!
11. This awesome handmade necklace is from Maedchenwahn, I love her illustrations and designs.
12. Such a pretty tote from Birdtoldme. I love the colors, the bag would match many of my clothes and the print is more than cute! :)

Awwww, how much I love birthdays, especially my own one and the day is gonna be there in less than 3 weeks! :) I have already made a Pinterest board with a birthday wishlist, but I also wanted so make one for my blog. I know that I probably won't get any of those items (most of my friends are pretty creative and rather think about something special themselves), but I love making those lists and I will perhaps later buy a few of those awesome things myself. :)

(Handmade) Christmas presents.

Hi! :) Here are some of the handmade Christmas presents I gave away this year (and on some photos you can also see some other things included in the sets which weren't handmade).
On the photo above, there's the set of presents Anja got this year, including the handmade apron I made for her. :)
My mother got a handmade patchwork pillow case and a handmade loop scarf, so cozy and warm! I also made some for the guys with other, more neutral fabrics.
You can never be wrong with a handmade pinboard and the felt phone case was made for the guys. :) Among a few other tiny things, Flo got a handmade patchwork blanket matching the color concept of his room. :) This is the set I put together for my dear friend Malin, including a handmade mini notebook, handmade wrist warmers and a handmade mini pinboard.
 Another one for the guys...
And, finally, a handmade fabric basket and the last pinboard for a friend of mine. :)

Handmade presents are the best and I got some handmade surprises from my friends, too! :)
Did you get anything handmade for Christmas? What was it? ;)
