Hi! :) Today I'm guest blogging over on lovely Katha's blog Kathastrophal. :) I like her blog so much and I like her outfits, the way her personality shines through and the way she writes her texts! :)
She invited me to contribute a post to her "Goodbye summer, hello autumn" series and I made a tutorial for how to make a pretty bunting out of fabric scraps and cardboard for home decoration purposes, you can find it on her blog. :)
Wish you a lovely Thursday,

Eeeks, my DIY is on the German DaWanda blog.

Hello!! :) Yayyy, good news, today you can find one of my DIY projects on the German DaWanda Blog (for those of you who don't know DaWanda, it's similar to etsy, it's an online marketplace for everything handmade). :) I have been invited to share my tutorial for how to stamp totes with natural materials, because on DaWanda there's the 'family month', a month full of projects for children and parents. :)
Maybe you want to take a look at the blog, just click here. :)
I'm so happy about this, thanks again for asking me! :)

Find my interview on A Red Apple.

Good morning everyone! :) I just wanted to quickly share a link, because lovely Nora of A Red Apple has recently invited me for an interview on her blog. :) This interview is about me, my blog, my shop and how my little independent business has developed. :) It's in German, but you can use the translator in her sidebar and also make sure to check out the rest of her blog, she always shares pretty things that inspire her, makes the loveliest chains of lights and her crocheting skills are awesome. :)
Thanks again for inviting me, Nora! :)
Happy Thursday to all of you!

Testing new craft tools and art supplies.

All items c/o Tchibo
"Uhhhm, what?? Really? Are you kidding?"
This was what I was thinking a few days ago while I was checking my e-mail inbox. I received a mail from a trainee student of corporate communications from Tchibo, a German company that sells coffee, clothes, housewares and many other things, depending on their current campaign. This lady told me that they noticed me because of my beautiful blog and that there was going to be a new campaign about crafts and DIY and then she asked me if they could send me a package with some of their new products to test them and that it would be nice if I could report about my crafting experiences with their new tools and materials.
Oh my gosh, I was so excited, because this is the first time a huge company has been approaching me and asked me to promote their wares. I was so flattered and I immediately agreed! :)
On Saturday I received a huuuge package with lots of tools and supplies. They sent me colorful cardboards, ironing foil, a precision cutter (I forgot to include it in the photo :)), a circle cutter (my favourite item!), a set with textile colors and patterns, a set for making jewellery and an embossing set. <3
When I opened the package, I immediately thought about what to create with all these things and I instantly had many ideas, I'm gonna show you the first project in the following post. :)
Wow, I still have difficulties realizing how my little business has developed and that more and more people are contacting me who want to talk about sponsorships or possible blog features.
I'm glad that I have been asked to test new craft supplies, because this is sooo much fun and I love trying out something new. :)
Thank you so much for reading and stay tuned for what I will do with my new toys. :)

Why I'm so excited today.

Good morning, dear readers! :) Remember the bow tie I made for Mogli for Christmas? I'm sooo glad that I decided to list it on DaWanda, because there seem to be a lot of people who like it. :) A short time ago, I was really happy to see that they listed my product on one of their treasuries which aim to help people finding the perfect presents for their loved ones. Then, a few days ago, I got an email from DaWanda, telling me that my item was going to be in the next newsletter (a Valentine's Day special), and in case you don't receive the letter yourself, here it is:

When you click onto Mogli in the Newsletter, you are directed to a page where there a presents for people who already have everything and the cute bow tie is the first item. <3 I don't have to tell you how proud I am, right? :)

I'm now going to a brunch date (What's a better way for starting Sundays, huh? ;)), see you later! :)

Go and say hello, she's from Denmark and has a pretty blog where she posts about her family life and her cute baby, she shows her awesome knitting skills or shares links to pretty items she finds on the Internet. We got to know each other through Indie Biz, just like I got to know some other awesome ladies!
I'm going to have a nap and then I'll keep on working on a few sewing projects. :)

Guest post on Ms. Fisher Goes Handmade.

Dear readers, lovely Sindy of Ms. Fisher goes Handmade has invited me to share a guest post for her birthday week on her blog. :) There you can see my camera case tutorial (for those who don't understand German, you can find the English version on my own blog) and lots of other lovely DIY ideas by other creative bloggers. Most posts are self-explanatory or you only need the photos to understand the tutorial, so it's no problem if you only speak English. :)
So visit Sindy's blog and make sure to say hello! :)
Thanks again for inviting me! :)

Bastelwunder / Crafting Wonder.

Dear readers, today's a lucky day! :) I've been selling some items on DaWanda and then I received an e-mail that me and my blog got the title 'Bastelwunder' (= 'Crafting Wonder')! :) There's a German site which collects links to inspirational blogs and aims to provide a great collection of sites which are worth reading and have to do with crafting and DIY.
A few weeks ago, Jenny mentioned on her blog wolkengleich that she was honoured to be a crafting wonder. I read the cute article they wrote about her and then I saw that one can apply for receiving that lovely title. After writing them an e-mail or after being proposed for receiving the title by somebody else, someone then has a look at your blog and if it meets their criteria, you can call yourself a crafting wonder and they introduce the blog and write a short article about it. :)
I felt so flattered when reading the short review of my blog!! :) It's in German and Lena, who is the author of the article, wrote about my creative projects and says that the style in which I'm writing my blog is appealing. :) She gives examples of some of my projects and says that my blog makes the crafter's heart beat faster. <3 Awww, while reading this, I was nearly melting. :)
If you're able to understand German and wanna read the article yourself, you can either click here or on the photo above. :)
That made my day, thanks! :)
