DIY Video with DaWanda: Winter Wonderland Advent Calendar

Hello, my dear readers! Two weeks ago, DaWanda and I have been making a Christmas DIY video for how to make a super pretty winter wonderland Advent calendar. It is made of different paper and cardboard elements and it's super easy to be made, you don't need expensive supplies and materials.
I wanted to make a calendar which is interesting to look at and which still matches my style and so I developed this concept in matching colors and with bright elements. The video is in German, but it is quite self-explanatory, so you can even watch it without understanding German and you will still learn how to make this calendar. :)
Have fun!

For filming this video, my lovely colleague Lena again came to visit me and we spent the morning in my craft corner, I really enjoyed it!
Paper cone trees, a matchbox sleigh, a gift bag house and a toilet roll Santa.
Sewn clouds which could contain a sweet message.
Origami envelopes.
How did you like my DIY video? :) Will you be making an Advent calendar this year?
Last year, I made three different ones, one Advent calendar for Anja, one Advent calendar for Flo and one Advent calendar for my mother. Lots of work and it took me super long, but it was worth the effort!
This year, this winter wonderland calendar is my favorite! :)
Happy crafting!
Lu
P.S.: If you wonder about the weird thing on my left wrist, this was a super cute sewing machine sticky tattoo from DaWanda, but it was already a week old and I forgot to remove the leftovers from my arm before filming the video. ;)

DaWanda Relaunch Video featuring Flo and Mogli!

Hellooooo! :) Awwww, I'm so excited that I can finally post this video!! DaWanda has just relaunched a new website with a new design and for this reason, a relaunch spot has been made. The video shows what's new on DaWanda and maybe you're gonna recognize someone in the spot... :) Eeeeks, Flo and Mogli are so damn cute in the video and I totally love how the spot has turned out! :) We filmed the last part in Anja's family's beautiful garden and it was lots of fun!
Mogli was too cute to be true and he had lots of fun! He got some colorful foam rubber spots and was washed with doggie shampoo. No worries, of course everything has been done voluntarily and the most important thing was that Mogli felt comfortable during the shooting. Since he loves attention and is used to being among many people, this was quite easy and we were having a funny afternoon!
Have a look at DaWanda's new website look and have fun watching the video! :)

Video: Happy Blogger Berlin Wall Walk.

Dear readers! :) As I already wrote in my blogpost about my Berlin weekend and the blogger conference, I had a fabulous Sunday evening with Fee, Juli and Stef at the Berlin wall!!
Inspired by Katrina of Zero the One's presentation about video blogging and her appeal of simply trying it and getting started, we simply made some little fun videos with our cameras and mobile phones. After having arrived at home, I tried out the editing software and couldn't believe how easy it was to cut a video and I'm so happy that I tried it out. Learning this new skill opens doors for new projects and I can't wait to film and cut more!!
Trying this out made me think of a great quote I recently read:
"When was the last time you did something for the first time?" - Well, it was just yesterday! :) Life's a journey full of learning and I think a fulfilled life means not to stop learning your whole life and always widning your personal horizon and I'm so proud that I just learned something new with making this little fun video! :)
The four of us filmed it and the music is by my dear friend Malin, also known as the German singer / songwriter Mary Jane Insane. You can listen to her music on soundcloud and even download the song Chewed-Up Tape which you can hear in the video and that I love a lot. :)
So when was the last time that YOU did something for the first time? ;)
P.S.: Any recommendations for video apps for android?

Luloveshandmade on youtube for DaWanda: Social Media Advices for Blogging

Click:
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks!!!!!!!!
DaWanda's seller education team has recently invited me to share my experiences and knowledge concerning blogging. In this video I talk about how to successfully use social media - especially a blog - in order to promote a shop and in order to support one's independent business. All the advice I give is based on my personal experiences and all the things I learned in the past years since I have started my blog. This can also be seen on DaWanda's blog where my video is introduced to the community. :)
Last week, Lena of DaWanda visited me at home with her camera and we were making this video, I had lots of fun and it was a totally new experience. Of course, Mogli was part of the video, too, he's such a cute pie with his handmade doggie bow tie! :)
Awwwww, so exciting! Now you can hear me talking and see me sitting in my craft corner! :)
Have fun!
