Hello and happy Saturday! :) This week, my very first public workshop took place and it was lots of fun! The workshop took place at DaWanda's Snuggery in Berlin where there are free workshops every Thursday evening. This week, people were invited to come and to make mini-pinboards with me. I was so thrilled, because 50 people wanted to register, but because the courses are normally prepared for only 30 people, we couldn't accept all of them. In the end, about 40 people came and I had lots of fun teaching them how to make those pretty mini-pinboards covered in colorful fabric.

All participants were able to choose from the fabric I had bought in advance and for some of them, the decision wasn't easy. :)
I brought some items for decor, distributed my leaflets and brought little paper bowls filled with sweets.

My dearest friend Anja came to support me and took all those photos for me and the blog. :*

Even two of my new DaWanda colleagues made some pinboards, and my friends Kat and Sina also came to the workshop. :*

See all the pretty pinboards which were made!
I had such a good evening and enjoyed chatting with all the participants and I even meeting blog readers! :) This workshop was a really good experience!
Thanks for coming, can't wait to give another workshop somewhere one day! :)

P.S.: There's also a post on the DaWanda Blog in which you can see photos of all four Janaury workshops and in case you want to make such a pinboard yourself, here's a tutorial. I'm so glad that my photo editing quality has improved since I made the tutorial two years ago... ;)
