Birdie pillow DIY.

Heyyy, happy Wednesday! :) Here is the second present I made for my lovely friend Malin, a little birdie pillow. :) I LOVE the fabric so much, I could just wrap myself in it. :D

Wanna sew such a pillow yourself? :)
To make the pillow, I first made a sketch, then I created a pattern for the bird's shape and for the wings. I used the pattern to cut out the fabric and then I attached the wings to the body via zig zag stitch. Next, I sewed the button eyes onto the fabric with my hands. Then I put the two layers of fabric onto each other, right sides facing, and I sewed the layers together, leaving out an opening at the bottom. Next, I used the zig zag stitch to hem the edges and cut tiny triangles out of the seam allowances at the curves so that it looks pretty when one then turns the fabric inside out (this makes the round edges look neat). Do so and then fill the pillow with cotton flocks and close the opening with a bling stitch. :)
Yay, so cute and so easy! :) Feel free to ask me if you have some more questions! :)
