Yayyyy, I finally finished this awesome project I've been wanting to do for so long!! :)
When we moved to our new apartment about half a year ago, we still had bedding with lots of white, blue and yellow and I somehow became a bit sick of this old bedding color concept. :) I'm someone who always needs a lot of visual changes (even as a child I rearranged my furniture pretty often ;D) and I easily get bored with things which always stay the same, so I thought it was time for a bedding makeover and for a new color concept in this corner of the room. :)
Therefore, I bought one new set of bedlinen with tiny roses (this is the blanket with the matching pillow on the left side) and lots of new fabric for my new color concept. First, I sewed this bunting above the bed and used up lots of fabric leftovers. Second, I bought this new pile of matching fabrics, all in white, rose, red and light green. :) Using those new fabrics, I sewed eight new pillow cases, each times two of one size and always with a different pattern. I simply loooooved collecting fabric scraps, making sketches and thinking of which fabric to use for which size and style, that's one of my favourite parts in the process of working on a new project. :)
Last weekend, I finally finished my project and I'm sooooo happy with the result, I love my bedcorner's makeover so much! <3
What do you think, how do you like this? :)
Eeeeeeks, thanks for reading! :)
