Happy Sunday!! :) I loooooove homemade jam so much and today I totally craved for one with strawberries and raspberries. It's not the first time I'm sharing a jam recipe and just a few weeks ago, I made yellow summer jam with pineapples, bananas, mangos and lemon balm and today I used fresh strawberries, raspberries, lime juice and lemon balm. :) One thing I love about making jam is that it's so easy and you can always try out a new flavour and combine different kinds of fruits. I always make enough to fill a few jars so that I have enough for a few months. :)
You need:
Raspberries, strawberries, lemon balm, lime juice & preserving sugar
To make the jam, simply chop up all the fruits and purée them. Mix them with the preserving sugar according to the instructions on the sugar. I used one where you need to add sugar to the fruits at a ratio of 3 to 1 (three parts fruits, one part sugar). Next, heat everything in a pot, let it cook for a few minutes, sterilizie your jars with boiling water and pour the jam into them. Close the top and add some pretty fabric scraps for decor. :)
What are your favourite flavours? Can't wait to make pancakes to eat them with my jam. :)
Enjoy your Sunday!
Lu :)
