DIY: Heart-shaped mini pillow.

Hiiii! :) It's finally weekend and I was in mood for a little DIY project. This is pretty easy and looks so lovely on my bed. :)

First, take some fabric and cut out a heart. Of course you need two layers, one for the front, one for the back. Next, sew the two layers of fabric upside down onto each other, the two sides which are later supposed to be on the outside now have to be facing each other. Don't forget to leave an opening so that you can turn the inside to the outside later on. After you've sewn the two pieces onto each other, cut little triangles into the seam allowances so that the pillow becomes rounder.

Then, turn the pillow's inside to the outside and fill it with lining. I used washable lining, because the pillow is without a zipper and so it's important that you wash the pillow with its lining. Afterwards, the only thing you have to do is to close the opening of the pillow with a tiny seam. That's it! :)

I really like it, it's such a pretty eyecatcher on our bed. :)
